Join Us For the Mohawk Valley Metric Century
Grab your bike, helmet, and a few friends, and get ready for a scenic ride through the Mid-Willamette Valley. Starting and ending at Pioneer Park in Brownsville, Oregon, we offer three stunning routes: 150k, 100k, and 50k. With rolling, low-traffic backcountry roads and breathtaking vistas, this ride is guaranteed to leave you smiling!
A Benefit for the Oregon Youth Mountain Bike League's "GRiT" Program
The Mohawk Valley Metric Century supports GRiT, a program within the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) aimed at empowering female student-athletes through cycling. Currently, girls make up 20% of NICA's national student-athlete participation. GRiT seeks to significantly increase that number in Oregon over the next five years.
Explore the Heart of the Willamette Valley
As you ride, take in the beauty of the region’s waterways and landscapes. The Calapooia River, known for its salmon runs, winds through lush surroundings, shaping the local environment. The McKenzie River, with its crystal-clear waters, flows through serene forests, offering a peaceful backdrop. And the Mohawk Valley, tucked away in the Willamette Valley, invites you to enjoy quiet, low-traffic roads and breathtaking views—perfect for cycling.
